Our app functions primarily as a local battery monitor. We do not collect or transmit personal identifiers or personal data to our own servers. All battery telemetry, histories, and configured alert rules are processed and stored locally on your device.
However, the application uses third-party services that may collect information used to identify you. Specifically:
Used to run basic Android platform behaviors, core APIs, and notifications.
Used to serve interstitial ads. AdMob collects device identifiers and advertising parameters to personalize and deliver ads.
Requested Permissions
To provide its core utility, the App requests several permissions on your device. These are utilized solely for local operations:
- Camera Access: Required only if you enable flashlight alerts to pulse the hardware camera torch when an alarm triggers.
- Foreground Service & Boot Completed: Allows the background engine to consistently monitor battery levels and restart monitoring upon device reboot.
- Post Notifications: Needed to show battery alerts in your device's notification tray.
- Vibrate: Enables physical device vibration alerts when alarms fire.
- Display Over Other Apps (Overlay): Used to automatically launch full-screen charging animation visuals upon power connection.
- Internet & Network State: Required by Google AdMob to fetch and load ad creatives.
AdMob Ad Policies & Cooldowns
In accordance with the Google Play Developer Program Policies and Google AdMob policies, we implement advertisements responsibly:
- No ads are displayed on app startup or immediate exit.
- We enforce an internal 30-second cooldown period between interstitial ads to prevent intrusive advertising and ensure a premium user experience.
- If an ad fails to load or the device is offline, your action (such as saving a configuration or modifying settings) completes immediately without interruption.
Children's Privacy
These Services do not address anyone under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13. In the case we discover that a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, we immediately delete this from our records.
